In individual sessions, the client focuses on the issues that concern them and, with the guidance of a licensed psychologist, identifies personal difficulties and internal blocks, as well as hidden strengths. Psychotherapy is more than just a conversation; it is a scientific process through which an individual explores ways to overcome challenges, personal concerns, or even a lack of purpose in life.
Through this therapeutic process, you learn to recognize and express your emotions healthily, while exploring alternative ways to manage the issues that affect your daily life.
The Therapeutic Relationship
My approach focuses on building a relationship based on mutual trust, honesty, and confidentiality. Within a safe and supportive environment, we become "fellow travelers" on the journey of discovering and understanding your inner psychological world.
Individual therapy focuses on:
- Self-Awareness & Growth: Understanding behavioral patterns.
- Emotional Management: Dealing with anxiety, sadness, and fear.
- Clinical Treatment: Specialized approach to anxiety disorders and depression.
Practical Information
Sessions are typically held on a weekly basis and last 50 minutes. The overall duration of therapy is determined by mutual agreement, depending on your needs and goals. Services are offered in person at my practice in Pallini, Athens, or via online sessions for those located elsewhere or with limited availability.
