Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 2026
Welcome to the website of Efrosyni Anagnostopoulou (MSc Psychologist). Access to and use of this website, as well as the provision of any service (in-person or remote sessions, digital products) through it, is governed by the following Terms & Conditions, which you are asked to read carefully before proceeding. Browsing the website or booking an appointment constitutes unqualified acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree with any term, please refrain from using the website or the services.
1. Service Provider Information
This website and the psychological support services are owned and provided by Efrosyni Anagnostopoulou, Psychologist, holder of a Professional Practice License, based in Pallini, Greece, at 30 Fidippidou Street, email info@eanagnostopoulou.gr. For any professional or legal inquiries regarding our services, you may contact us directly at the email above.
2. Nature of Services & Disclaimer
The content of this website (articles, texts, FAQs, audio guides) is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It does not, under any circumstances, substitute individualized clinical diagnosis, psychotherapy, medical advice, or pharmaceutical treatment. Psychological support services provided by appointment (in-person or remote) are offered exclusively within the context of a professional psychological relationship and do not replace emergency psychiatric or medical care.
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or having thoughts of self-harm, please contact emergency support lines immediately (in Greece: 197 EKAB Psychological Support, 1018 Psychosocial Support Line, 166 EKAB) or go to the nearest hospital / emergency department. If you are outside Greece, please contact your local emergency services or crisis line.
3. Remote Services (Teletherapy)
In addition to in-person sessions at the office, remote sessions (video call) are also offered via a secure videoconferencing platform. By booking a remote session, you acknowledge and accept that:
- Internet-based communication carries inherent limitations and technical risks (connection interruptions, delays, privacy of your own network) for which we are not liable;
- You are responsible for ensuring a private, quiet space during the session, in order to protect your own confidentiality;
- In the event of a technical failure preventing completion of the session, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule;
- Teletherapy may not be suitable in every situation (e.g. acute crisis), in which case an in-person session or referral to emergency care may be recommended instead.
4. Special Terms for Minor Clients
For a minor (under 18) to receive psychological support services, prior information and consent from the person(s) exercising parental responsibility is required, in accordance with the Greek Civil Code and the Code of Ethics for Psychologists. The parent/guardian booking an appointment for a minor confirms they are legally entitled to do so and takes responsibility for the accuracy of the information provided. Where parental responsibility or joint custody is in dispute, written consent from both parents may be requested before sessions begin or continue.
5. Booking, Cancellation & Rescheduling
Appointments are booked via the contact details listed on the website. If you are unable to attend, please notify us at least 24 hours before the scheduled session. Cancellations outside this window, or unexcused no-shows, may be subject to a fee in accordance with the applicable cancellation policy, which is communicated to you at the time of first contact/booking.
6. Digital Products (Audio Guides) & Purchases
Audio guides are sold through the third-party platform Gumroad, which processes payment and electronic delivery of the product. We do not store and do not have access to your card details.
As this is digital content delivered immediately in non-tangible (downloadable) form, in accordance with Article 3ia of Greek Law 2251/1994 (implementing EU Directive 2011/83/EU) and the equivalent EU consumer-rights framework, by completing your purchase and giving your express, prior consent to immediate performance, you acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal that ordinarily applies to distance sales, from the moment download of the file begins. In the event of a technical problem (e.g. corrupted file, inability to download), please contact us for a replacement or, where appropriate, a refund.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website (texts, articles, audio guides, logos, photographs, graphics) is the intellectual property of Efrosyni Anagnostopoulou and is protected under Greek Law 2121/1993 on copyright and applicable EU law. Republication, reproduction, distribution, or modification of the material, in whole or in part, without prior written consent of the rights holder, is prohibited.
8. User Obligations
Visitors/users of the website must make lawful and reasonable use of it, must not engage in conduct that jeopardizes its security or operation (e.g. introducing malicious software, unauthorized access), and must provide accurate and truthful information when making contact or booking an appointment.
9. External Links
This website may contain links to third-party websites (e.g. Psychology Today, Wikipedia). We accept no responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of such websites, which are governed by their own terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
Reasonable efforts are made to keep the content of this website accurate and up to date; however, no warranty is given as to its completeness or fitness for any particular purpose. We are not liable for temporary unavailability of the website, technical errors, or any damage arising from use or inability to use it, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by Greek law and applicable European Union law. Any dispute arising in connection with the use of the website or the services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Athens, Greece, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules. Alternatively, consumers may contact the Greek Consumer Ombudsman (Synigoros tou Katanaloti, www.synigoroskatanaloti.gr) for out-of-court dispute resolution. Please note that the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform ceased operation on 20 July 2025.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time, to reflect changes in legislation or in our services. The version in force at any given time is published on the website with an indication of the last update date.
13. Severability
If any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable by a competent court, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
14. Contact
