Anger is Not the Enemy, It's a Message.

Anger is Not the Enemy, It's a Message.

🔍 What is Anger in Reality?

Anger is a secondary emotion, meaning that something deeper usually hides behind it: pain, fear, frustration, injustice. Its role is not to destroy, but to protect us.

When it is not expressed, it accumulates in the body and our nervous system, leading to tension, anxiety, or even psychosomatic issues.

🛑 Why Do We Struggle to Express It?

From a young age, we learned that “anger is bad.” Many people have grown up in environments where conflict equated to punishment or rejection. Thus, we learn to swallow it, until it explodes or turns into passive-aggressiveness.

🎯 What Does Healthy Expression of Anger Mean?

It is not shouting or emotional outbursts; it is conscious assertiveness. It is the ability to say “no,” to set boundaries, and to express how you feel without causing harm.

🛠️ How Can We Work with Anger?

  • Observe your body: Where does the anger “reside”?
  • Name it: “I feel angry because…”.
  • Release it creatively: Write, walk, talk.

Seek professional support when you cannot manage it on your own, especially if it becomes self-destructive.

Your anger is a compass. It shows what you can no longer tolerate and what needs to change.
