  • Do not start just because your friend or your mother is doing it. It will not lead to any success.

🔭 Choosing the Right Professional

  • Try two professionals to see who fits you best, because not everyone has the same training, approach, and personality.
  • Try to trust and follow the pace of the therapy you have chosen.

⏱️ Duration and Effectiveness

Psychotherapy is not a one-time event. The most short-term format consists of 8 to 10 sessions.

According to research, psychotherapy is much more useful for people who view their appointments as something important and valuable to their lives.
